About Dr. Kathleen Hall: Alter Your Life

Animal Rescue
We are committed to reverence for all creatures. We currently provide homes for twelve dogs, fifteen cats and thirty horses. Throughout the years we have rescued hundreds of dogs, cats and horses. We are blessed to have found homes for many of our angelic four-legged guests.
Capitol Area Mosaic (C.A.M.)
For thirteen years we have been involved with this amazing organization. Capitol Area Mosaic is an organization that is now a part of Families First in Atlanta, GA. C.A.M. is an interfaith organization that serves the residents of Capitol Homes, a public housing development in downtown Atlanta. Our involvement includes; working with the children at the center in downtown Atlanta, various after school programs, tutoring, mentoring and serving on the Board of Directors. We bring the children of all ages up to Oak Haven for classes, slumber parties, horseback riding and summer camps. WE LOVE EVERYONE INVOLVED WITH C.A.M.
Habersham Cardio-Pulmonary Wellness Center Dr. Hall has volunteered with the Habersham County Medical Center and Piedmont College for seven years. She facilitates the weekly wellness group and teaches wellness classes for the organization. The patients regularly visit Oak Haven for luncheon retreats where the staff serves the group.
Foothills Counseling Center
Dr. Hall serves on the Board of Directors of Foothills Counseling Center. This organization is a member of the United Way and provides mental health services for the community. Patients pay on a sliding scale according to their family income. Families that can not afford mental health services are served by this organization. Millennium Co-Op Dr. Hall serves on the Board of Directors. This organization serves the community by working with clients in our community with mental health diagnoses through art. We provide vocational training in art for those diagnosed with mental health diseases.
The Dukes Foundation
Dr. Hall serves on the board of the Dukes Foundation, Incorporated. The Dukes Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 2008, in the state of Georgia by Horace Dukes. The Foundation's mission is to inspire young, at-risk men to realize their dreams by emphasizing the importance of academic performance, self-esteem, self-confidence, and self- sufficiency. The Foundation offers leadership development training, health education, mentoring, personal development, and character building programs. |
